The Hotel
Created for total tranquility, Blue Tulum (Formerly Karisma Azul Blue) is the world’s first stress free hotel. Why stress free? Because we realized that with today’s hectic lives, people around the world have a growing need for inner peace. So we created a vacation sanctuary designed especially for rest, relaxation and tranquility. Everything at Blue Tulum was developed with this thought in mind. The property overlooks the Mexican Caribbean, affording calming views of the ocean.

With just 96 luxurious suites, the size and layout of the property are not overwhelming. Everything is reachable within a few steps. The oversized suites have been crafted from fine materials and have top of the line equipment, such as iPods, and plasma televisions. The bedding is first class, of course, and the bed linens are premium Italian cotton. As a special touch and to ensure perfect repose, guests may even select the firmness of their pillows from a pillow menu.

Each villa has a dedicated butler service, which is there to ensure every aspect of your stay is taken car of. Let them assist you by having them unpack your luggage while you concentrate on yourself and the beginning of your journey to complete relaxation. They will also offer to draw a bath for you and help you select a soothing aroma for your stay. Any request or need you may have, your butler is here to ensure it is fulfilled.

Accommodation
Each of the suite offers a double size hydro-massage tub, perfect for a relaxing soak. You may even opt for an aromatherapy bath as part of our Spa program, which also contains a variety of other soothing massage treatments. Of course the rooms are air conditioned, and feature king size or double beds. The marble bathrooms have luxurious showers with "rainshower style" showerheads, which turn every shower into an invigorating experience.

They also have a hair dryer as well as double sinks for optimal convenience. Other amenities of the suites include a safety deposit box, daily stocked mini bar, coffee/tea maker, direct dialing telephone, as well as an oversized balcony with views of the lush gardens or Mexican Caribbean sea. Should you feel like staying in, there is a twenty-four hour room service menu, which is part of our Gourmet Inclusive program.

We are sometimes asked why we have three restaurants for a property of 96 rooms. Well, that was the only way to ensure a perfect dining environment, which is the philosophy of our signature Gourmet Inclusive program. The three restaurants offer a' la carte dining only.

The Globe Restaurant
Globe was created to be a place for global culinary expressions. All menu items are a carefully selected mix of local and global ingredients, presented with artistic flair in an environment designed to complement each meal. The impressive open kitchen defines the décor of Globe restaurant which is complemented with glass pillars and fresh water running down large glass walls for an ambiance of refreshing tranquility. Herbal arrangements provide a soothing aroma. And a distinctive design of colors and light provide the final dining accent. As a unique touch, Plasma screens have been placed in various locations of the restaurants to offer views of live footage from the kitchen. Breakfast is available a la carte or "chef to guest," which are meals prepared over innovative cooking stations where guest may select from the freshest ingredients.

The View Restaurant
View is our open air restaurant and bar, for a casually elegant al fresco dining experience. The surrounding and breathtaking views are complemented by a fine variety of beverage choices and dishes. You may choose from a selection of Mexican Ceviches, which are prepared to order, or you may pick and choose the ingredients and our Cevichero will mix it for you on his frozen marble top. Other seafood creations are also available as well as a daily changing menu with creative variations on authentic Mexican favorites. And from our wood burning oven we serve crispy pizzas and fresh foccacias. The patio is shaded for a relaxed ambiance during the day while candles and torches at dinner time complement the Mayan moon for a romantic atmosphere.

The Yuzu Restaurant
Yuzu is an Asian Grill and Sake Parlour, where you are welcome to enjoy a Sake Stir aperitif and lounge on the oriental sofas in the parlour. The restaurant is decorated in three distinct Asian motifs, which are united by a river that flows through the venue and is partially covered by a see-trough walkway allowing you to catch a glimpse of exotic fish. The Yuzu concept was developed to surprise the palate with sophisticated dining experiences from Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines.

The Tintu Restaurant
Created for lounging and indulging with fine wines and cocktails, Tinto is our Wine and Piano Lounge. Relax in an inviting setting, with an entertainment program that includes daily live piano and music performances. The lounge was created for guests with an discriminating palate and a passion for great wine. Here, you may opt to sample extraordinary vintages from premier wine makers. To bring out their best characteristics, these wines are served in the finest hand-blown glassware. Daily vintage wine tasting are offered in a set of three to allow you to pick your favorite and combine it with some Maya fusion delights. If you order a premium wine bottle, but just wish to enjoy a glass or two, our Cruvinet wine preserving system will protect your premium wine by instantly replacing the oxygen in a freshly opened bottle with pure, odorless, tasteless nitrogen gas, thereby arresting the damaging oxidation process.

The Wave Bar
Wave bar serves exciting tropical drinks under a thatched-roof. A lounge as well as a swim-up bar, Wave is a popular spot. At night, kick back and listen to live music while sipping your favorite drink and lounging in one of our famous "hanging" beds with unforgettable views of the Caribbean ocean.

For that purpose, the Beach Cabanas, our four post beach beds, outfitted with king-size mattresses, retractable drapes and oversized pillows, are perfect for private sun bathing. They will create total relaxation convenience by providing towel service, refreshments, tanning products, mineral water vaporizers, literature.
